Helianthus tuberosus is also known as the Jerusalem Artichoke and is part of the sunflower family of plants. Legend has it that in the 17th Century, Helianthus tuberosus made the journey across the Atlantic from its native America. Said to taste like the ‘common’ artichoke, the ‘sunseeker’ (or Gensirola in Italian), it soon became a staple food throughout Europe.
Helianthus (Jerusalem Artichoke) roots are still used in recipes in many parts of the world. These roots have also been used in healthcare – helping to provide a natural holistic approach to weight loss as part of a calorie-controlled diet.
Dosage
Adults:
15 drops in a little water, 3 times daily for 12 weeks.
Maintenance:
15 drops in a little water, once daily with your main meal.
