Refunds & Returns

This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to purchases from Anadea (www.anadea.co.za), operated by AD Investments (Pty) Ltd. It is intended to comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under those laws.
1. Faulty, Defective, or Unsafe Goods (6-Month Warranty)
Under section 56 of the CPA, all goods carry an implied warranty of quality for six (6) months from the date of delivery. If, within this period, goods are found to be defective, unsafe, of poor quality, or not durable as can reasonably be expected, you may return them to us at our risk and expense and choose — at your election — a repair, a replacement, or a full refund. You will not be charged for returning goods that fail to meet this standard.
2. Damaged in Transit or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order on delivery. If an item arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected], with photos where possible. We will arrange the return at our cost and send a replacement or full refund.
3. Change of Mind (7-Day Cooling-Off)
Under section 44 of ECTA, you may cancel an eligible online order within 7 days of delivery, without reason or penalty. The goods must be unused, unopened, and in their original, resalable packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods; we will refund the purchase price once they are received. This cooling-off right does not apply to the items listed in section 4.
4. Non-Returnable Items
By law (section 42 of ECTA) and for health and hygiene reasons, the following are excluded from the change-of-mind cooling-off period: consumable health, food, and supplement products once opened or where the seal is broken; and any made-to-order or personalised items. This exclusion does not affect your right to return such goods if they are defective or unsafe under the CPA.
5. How to Request a Return
Email [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) concerned, the reason for the return, and photos where relevant. We will confirm the return method and address and guide you through the process.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method. By law, a cooling-off refund is paid within 30 days of cancellation; in practice we process approved refunds within 7–14 business days. Where a return is due to a defect, damage, or our error, the original delivery charge is refunded as well; for change-of-mind returns, the original delivery charge is not refunded.
7. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA. If we are unable to resolve a complaint, you may refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (www.cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission.
